            Perfection!

            5 of 5
It was very difficult to leave Hyde-Away!!! ... A wonderful August vacation for me and my dog at Embden Pond ... The house and the property exceeded all expectations. A private setting with beautiful views and plenty to do on the pond. It was truly a restful time - I certainly did not miss the TV or WiFi at all!! .. Betty Ann was a gracious host and wonderful to work with - I felt welcome immediately! Already looking forward to returning again!!

            Wonderful Lakeside Getaway

            5 of 5
My wife and I just returned from a lovely week with our Jack Russel. This cabin is truly "away from it all", as the other review mentions it was 30 minutes from the nearest Walmart for supplies. There are neighbors on either side but the trees are dense enough that you don't feel like they're very close at all. The cabin is rustic for sure, but all the basics are provided (cookware, diningware, pillows, blankets, etc). We enjoyed the use of the canoe and the firepit nightly. The stars are truly breathtaking especially for us city folk. Harmony is about 2 hours from Bar Harbor and we spent an awesome day hiking Cadilac Mountain. Another day was spent exploring nearby towns and antiquing. We had a perfect week of peace and tranquility thanks to the Flatrock Inn.
