Immaculate house with spectacular views and water activities at your fingertips!

                        5 of 5
Patsy & Warren were exceptional hosts! On day 1 we were greeted with a warm New England smile and a tour of the house. Everything you can think of (and probably some you haven't!) are included in the house, with enough kitchen accessories to cook gourmet meals and 8 lobsters at a time. The hummingbird feeders provided plenty of lively morning visitors while you enjoy a cup of tea overlooking the water. We can't say enough about the pristine beach we launched canoes and kayaks from, as well as floated lazily in the lake on our floats we brought from home. Make sure to pack a lunch and canoe across the lake to explore the many coves and a few islands. We were treated to bald eagles, a family of loons, and a few frogs while on the lake. There is no end to the scenic sites outside the home as well. The home made a great base camp for day activities such as white water rafting on the Penobscot at NEOC, moose watching between Greenville and Kokadjo (13 moose in 4 days!!), and hiking. There is one major grocery store on Route 15 coming into Greenville, so make sure to stop there and also top off your tank (cheapest gas for the area). All in all, an amazing week in an even more amazing house rental!

                        Our happy place!!!

                        5 of 5
This is me and my husband's happy place. We went up to Maine for our honeymoon in 2014 then decided to take the kids back in 2015. They had an amazing time being kids! No cellphones or video games needed. It's of the beaten path but it FORCES you to relax. Best vacation I've ever had. Can't wait to go back next year. We stayed in cabin 2 plenty big, very clean, and alot of things they already have there not like other cabins. So to answer you question quit looking? It doesn't get much better than this!! Paradise!

My family spent the week recently and this place is AMAZING. The home is spacious, immaculate and luxurious (even nicer than the pictures show) and the island itself is magical. The family was so helpful in getting us in and situated and we really appreciated that. They were always just a phone call away w/ any questions we had. The locals were also very friendly and very helpful. Our children (ages 2-19) really enjoyed the golf cart rides and exploring the island, looking for wildlife. We sat by the fire, made smores, BBQ'd, played board games, watched DVD's, went for walks, fished, boated, golfed, hung out at the clubhouse, ate at fantastic restaurants and much more. Believe it or not, there was lots of peaceful down time too. We all got to catch up as a family w/out computers, TV, cellphones, texting and all the craziness. It was a very special time for us. Kineo Island is almost surreal in it's beauty. We've never seen such a place. There are so many memories that'll last us a lifetime. We long to get back there and you can bet we will.
