              Maine Vacation

              5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at MooseCreek Lodge! The 5 bedrooms with private baths were perfect for our children and their friends. In addition, the bedrooms for the kids are located away from the master bedroom suite, beneficial for teenagers and their parents. The MBR suite also has a separate sitting area with a TV that proved to be convenient with a large group. The kitchen boasting a six burner gas stove, 2 ovens and a large griddle provided ample space to prepare meals. The pool table and lounge is located on the side of the facility opposite the bedrooms. For teenagers that do not keep the same hours as their parents, this layout is ideal. They can stay up late and make as much noise as desired. With the areas being separated by the dining room and kitchen, parents can sleep soundly through the night. MooseCreek Lodge is a terrific location for accessing the abundant outdoor activities in Maine and some of our highlights are listed below: - Whitewater on the Kennebec - Fly fishing the Kennebago - Cliff jumping at Small's Falls - Hiking to Avery Peak, West Bigelow and Piazza Rock - Tubing on Rangeley Lake - Kayaking on Flagstaff Lake - Airsoft in the Maine woods - Wildlife (bald eagles, deer, foxes, loons, moose, turkeys).

Wonderful ski (outdoor activity) family vacation!

              5 of 5
What a WONDERFUL ski vacation! We rented this lodge with our adult children March 12-15. It was everything we expected and MORE! Our children ages 26 – 31 each had their own room or should I say own floor (including basement) with plenty of extra beds for their friends. One could easily fit three families in this house without bumping into each other. There is a bathroom/shower on each of the three floors. I LOVED the layout of the kitchen, and, may, use some of Doug and Angela’s ideas for a new kitchen at my home. The kitchen is equipped with the BEST cookware, dishes, and utensils. The hot tub was a huge hit after a tiring day of skiing and snowshoeing with spectacular views of Sugarloaf & Bigelow. My husband LOVED the huge GREAT ROOM with the plush leather seating and huge flat screen TV. As stated in other reviews, there is plenty of living space for groups to gather around and a large dining room table w/chairs for family dinners. This is a GREAT family ski/outdoor activity vacation lodge, I would definitely recommend it. A big SHOUT OUT to Doug & Angela. Thank you! We will be back!
