                        Restful & Relaxing

                        5 of 5
Our family of 6 needed a place to get away together and rest! We found it in this home! There is plenty of indoor space on the three levels for the teenagers and adults to spread out and do our own thing, or come together to eat, play games, or watch a movie. And of course the Maine outdoors was wonderful: relaxing in the hot tub, coffee and a book on the deck, stories around the campfire, napping on the hammock, star gazing on the dock, swimming off the raft, or kayaking on the lake. We especially our up close encounters with loons, ducks, and eagles. The home is clean and practical but not fancy, very user friendly. Details were as advertised on the website. Owner was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. We enjoyed a family hike to the summit of Borestone Mountain. The view is worth the climb! We also took a day trip to experience Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor!

Wonderfully secluded property on the lake that swept our hearts to want to come again and again.

                        5 of 5
We loved our stay at the Sebec lake property. It was clean and had every amenity that one needed to relax and enjoy a family retreat like we did. We kayaked and boated from the secluded little rock beach area at the property. We even celebrated my birthday on the vast porch that had a grill and a lovely scene of the water. The water was so relaxing and the views breath taking. We had Wi-Fi for the kids games at night when it rained. We boated every day and even enjoyed the local beach, coves, and food. It looks like a newly finished property. With any newly finished place has a few glitches (loose towel rack, doorframe, and cupboard knob missing), but these small quirks did not take away from our stay, for the property was beautiful none the same. The owners were straight forward, friendly, and responded quickly to any problems that could arise, but none did. There were easy to follow instructions to get to the property. The property is close by to Bangor, Dover which is handy if needing things from town. The property was very clean, well maintained. I assure you it is worth every penny spent and would recommend this property to friends and family. We have cherished family memories of this vacation that will be with us forever, which is priceless. Thank you, Joe Caruso, for the lovely stay.

                        The Way Life Should Be

                        5 of 5
As a lifetime Mainer, recently moved to SC, I was looking for a vacation that would give me everything that screamed MAINE. We're so glad we found this place. It's hard to say anything bad when you had seven days of near perfect weather during your stay. The house was simple but fully equipped. The lot was much larger than I expected and allowed us to host our family and support 22+ people milling about. Paddling every morning with the rising sun and the laughing loons was my favorite part of the day. The owners were prompt to our inquiries and pleasant to work with. We're already looking forward to our next stay on the lake. Thank you for making this available!
