                      Fantastic Location!

                      5 of 5
The location of this beautiful"cottage" cannot be beat. Beautiful views from almost every window. Very peaceful but close enough to all amenities. Coffee on the master bedroom deck in the morning watching the sun rise over the water. Lunch on the main deck and a glass of wine on the floating dock-heaven! We saw seals very close to the dock early one morning. Roasted marshmallows in the fire pit watching one of the biggest moons we had ever seen. The house itself is very well equipped. Great places to eat not to far away. The Schoolhouse on Harps well straight over on Mountain Road is fantastic for Brunch and we would recommend Morses Restaurant for Dinner. Salt Cod Cafe is great place to sit outside with a coffee or bowel of chowder and watch the boats go by. We would have no hesitation in recommending Al & Gingers cottage for a vacation. Captain's View-Phenomenal!

                      5 of 5
My family recently spent a week at this cottage and cannot say enough good things about it! Not only is it a spacious place with big rooms, but the floor plan is well layed to offer privacy for the bedrooms. Everything was extremely neat and in great condition. My kids (19, 17, and 15-all athletes and over 6') didn't feel cramped at all. The kitchen was huge, clean, and fully equipped allowing us to cook many of our own meals. Once you head outside things only get better. There were miltiple decks with lots of seating. There was also a private stairway with a very rocky beach. The lawns were roomy as well. The best part is the private float. It was so fun to watch the tide, jump off the float, kayak into the bay and Atlantic, and lay on the float. The water is closer than you could imagine and we spent many hours watching the lobster boats just right in front of us. We plan to return next year and do not anything bad to say about the place!

Spectacular Silver Anniversary Getaway in October

                      5 of 5
This beautiful cottage on gorgeous Orr's Island was the perfect location for our getaway to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.  It was a week in "paradise"!!   Everything that we experienced from the time we pulled into the drive, until our departure, was WONDERFUL!  The cottage is lovely and full of charm.   It is more than adequate with all of the amenities that Damian provides.  We really felt at home.    With the kitchen's open design, you are still a part of what is going on in the main living area, which is so nice.  We enjoyed the comfortable living room, fireplace, and large flat screen TV - very cozy.     The view is breathtaking from the house, the deck, the yard, and the rocky shoreline.    The shore is an excellent spot to cast for Striper and Rock Bass.  Damian was a pleasure to work with in planning our trip to the cottage.  And we found his tip sheet to be the perfect key to unlocking all of the treasures of the area.  We really enjoyed The Giant Steps, Reid State Park, Popham Beach, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, plus great shopping and site seeing north in Brunswick, Bath, Boothbay, Wiscasset, Newcastle, Rockland and Camden.    Since you are searching for a rental, our recommendation is this: stop looking because you have found paradise in Maine!
