                    Wonderful stay

                    5 of 5
Property was as described, plenty of room in the kitchen and living room. Kitchen well equipped and fresh seafood nearby. First bedroom upstairs with deck and double bed great for a couple, 2nd bedroom is kind of make shift but works great for kids. Loved the shaded backyard, stayed nice and cool even midday in July. Clothesline and washer/dryer were a plus. Walking distance to coffee, breakfast, dinner and groceries was very convenient. Goose Rocks beach was the nicest beach I've been too, nice shallow shelf with gentle waves, great for small children so you don't have to worry about undertow, about an 8 minute drive. Kayaks were great and Sampson cove is beautiful. All gear was available, even a few pairs of water shoes. Very quiet lane, nice neighbors. We were 4 adults and a 3 year old, pull out couch downstairs worked great for grandma as stairs are steep, we had plenty of room.

Perfect family vacation home in perfect location

                    5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jane and Ed's pristine home last week. John, the property manager, was pleasant and helpful. The property itself is in great condition and very clean. It had all the amenities we were looking for in a family vacation home. The air conditioners in the bedrooms were a great treat in the evening, too! We hope to rent Jane and Ed's home again the next time we make the trek back to the east coast for a family vacation. Thank you both so much for opening your home to us! Barbara & Brian

                    Beautifully restored, tastefully decorated

                    4 of 5
Brian took on an amazing challenge, updating what some contractors might call a 'tear down.' The results gave my husband and me the best accommodations ever in our yearly jaunt to Kennebunkport. The house is a quirky amalgam of beachy, funky, truly comfortable accommodations.Everything we needed, wanted, or hoped for was found in the kitchen...including a gas stove. Note: No garbage disposal. There were lots of areas to create separate spaces for reading, working on laptops, or breathing in the cool air. If you run in to a prolonged heat wave in Maine, which does happen, be aware that there are window units in the two bedrooms. There are so many original windows you ought to be able to adjust breezes to suit the time of day in the rest of the house. This is a perfect place for a couple. Or at least a couple like us. The upstairs (steep) is all master suite. A small bedroom off the living room might not do if two couple are traveling together. We are more than eager to go back next year.
