The simplicity of good design really matters and Manset studio proves it. This small space manages to magically offer six separate environments to enjoy over the space of a two car garage. I could read my book on the deck, in bed, at the desk or on the couch or at the kitchen counter. This studio is appointed with high quality accessories. There were great little touches like high quality hand cream, soaps and q-tips for guest use. I really appreciated having real cotton sheets, a cotton blanket and a nice quilt to sleep in and not some cheesy polyester fabric in a clashing pattern. I loved the botanical garden fine china and not having to eat off of some plastic ugly design that made me cringe. The owners were especially considerate in leaving a welcome gift basket of wine, cheese and crackers and OJ and milk and tea and coffee for the first morning. I loved being on the porch and doing yoga overlooking the field in the mornings. Everything seemed clean and new. Despite this being attached to a home we couldn't hear the owners except for when their garage door opened. The location off the main road was very quite and we could see millions of stars at night from the deck. It was a great place to come back to at night or to hang out in on a rainy day. The only (tiny) down side was that the internet couldn't be accessed from the bed cubby and that there was a slight moldy smell from the carpeted interior stairwell. Overall this is a cosy, well designed and tastefully appointed studio and we were really grateful to have found it and to have stayed there.
