  • Charming Cottage in quiet location in Chester
    5 of 5

Sarah's lovely apartment worked well for our family of 3 in Chester. The location can't be beat, especially if you are interested in walking the Roman walls or the River Dee, and it was a quiet area on a non-through street - the reason we selected her property over others. While small, it had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and we used her coffee machine, stovetop, refrigerator, and clothes washer. A small but good Tesco is literally steps away, so we were able to have breakfast in the apartment. We also valued her pub and restaurant recommendations. During the booking process, Sarah stayed connected and answered several questions in a prompt manner. She is a great manager, and we think you will enjoy her Chester charmer.

We spent a month in this outstanding flat in Chester. The entire experience, from the initial booking until we checked out, was perfect. We have rented many holiday properties, in the US and in other countries and we can say that by far, this is the best one we have ever rented. Sam was a terrific hostess. From the time we booked, and all through our stay, she went above and beyond to make sure we had a welcoming and comfortable visit. The flat is beautiful and finished to the highest standards. It was impeccably clean and well furnished. So much thought was put into the details--not a single thing was lacking. The kitchen was a cook's dream and the bedding was plush and inviting. There were so many lovely "extras", too. Fresh flowers, luxurious toiletries, a welcome basket full of tasty treats and a lovely garden with outdoor seating. It was like staying in the home of a dear friend--if that friend owned a boutique hotel! The location was perfect, too. Chester is a wonderful, lively city with so much to see and do and we could walk everywhere in town. It was also a great base for trips further into England and Wales. We would give this flat more stars if we could--it really is exceptional. Even if Chester weren't such a great place to visit (which it is), it would be worth the trip just for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home. We can't thank you enough, Sam and Mat. Cheers!
