            Kentucky Family Christmas

            5 of 5
My family and I enjoyed this property so much. The home is so very beautiful and made an exquisite backdrop to our christmas photos. If there was an option to share pics with the viewers, I certainly would. The home was very clean and the energy plant was not an issue at all. It even played Christmas music on Christmas Eve. It was a great experience and are planning a return visit soon.

            It was perfect!!

            5 of 5
My extended family was in the area for a Dec wedding and instead of renting 4 hotel rooms, we stayed at this house. It was great to have a place to unwind, which had a large table to gather around, multiple places for kids and adults to hang out, and games to play. While this was not a draw back, just want other renters to know that the road is very narrow and curve getting to the location, but well worth it!!

Great base for our Bourbon/Chocolate Tour

            5 of 5
The perfect woodsy get-away!! We had plenty of room for 6 adults on the 1st floor with the large kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, family room, and covered deck overlooking a beautiful piece of property. Two more bedrooms upstairs could easily accommodate 4 more. The travel time between the distilleries and home base was easier than anticipated giving us time to enjoy nightly camp fires. Eating dinner by headlamp on the bluff was so much fun. Between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm we drove 100 + miles to visit about 5 places per day. Our total travel time per day was about 2+ hours. Over the five day period we visited 14 distilleries, toured the Oskar-Getz museum in Bardstown, the barrel factory in Lebanon, the KY Chocolate factory in Lexington, the convent/artist studio in Nerinx, and the Shaker Village. We also threw in some great restaurants and home cooked meals. Thanks for providing us such a great place to stay.
