Forgive me about the dates, I couldn't figure out exactly when we were there - everything was very fuzzy at best. One Saturday morning, my husband came to me and said one of our family members had passed a few hours earlier in the most tragic way one could imagine. Our whole family started the grapevine phone calling to notify everyone and make plans to meet in Bowling Green. We had the two hour drive to find lodging before everyone started arriving car, plane, etc. I found this awesome place on VRBO and immediately called the wonderful owner, who is very close to our hearts. She allowed me to book the house and bypass a lot of the paperwork, etc. and just have the beds available for some very stunned, exhausted family. The owner made everything so incredibly easy - from directions and code-pad information to giving the family a very thoughtful gift. I simply can NOT say enough about how wonderful they were. OH! And the house! Very tastefully decorated, great beds, gorgeous living room, a great room and sun-room to sit around and drink coffee and talk. We also had family and friends come to the house after the funeral. The gathering went into the wee hours of the night - and I was delighted to see the widow starting to laugh instead of just crying. It's a great location - just 5 minutes from I-65 - close to all the great shopping, attractions and food 5 minutes away. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
