                  Fascinating accomodation

                  5 of 5
We feel really lucky we had the opportunity to spend our time in Venice staying in this beautiful accomodation. Villa Bellini is a single entrance house with 3 open sides, ideally north west and south. North faces the small access "street" and a beautiful canal, west faces a private open court and south faces its private garden. Really bright and quiet. It is disposed on 2 floors: ground (in fact 3 steps over) is the living area with entrance, nice quality kitchen, a complete bathroom and a superb living allowing access to the (magnific) garden, 1st is the night area with 2 really large bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds (1 double + 1 single each) and a large bathroom with also large shower. Every ambience is windowed (all with curtains) and bright. Besides its garden and canal views the most fascinating aspect of this accomodation is its richness of original XIX Cent. features as the living's coffered ceiling, internal stair, doors and bedroom floors. Within all its obvious "plus" as garden, views, quality features, equipement and position (just behind Guggheneim) we found that the original features of this accomodation give it a genuine and agreable "venetian touch" that we never found in our 12 previous stays. We already booked Villa Bellini for our further stay next spring. Definitely recommended. Suggested spots: campiello Barbaro (the most charming small square of Venice) just few steps from the entrance, Punta de la Dogana (museum and panorama), small San Gregorio church. Try Santa Maria del Giglio gondola ferry service to cross the grand canal (1 min walking from the house) unique experience. Suggested restaurants (most important suggestions LOL): La Calcina, Linea d'Ombra, Ai Gondolieri (beautiful good bit expensives), Osteria Alboreti, Cicheti da Schiavi and many others.
