My wife and I stayed here for 6 weeks and loved every minute of it! It is just like home with every comfort. Very quiet yet easy to walk to the waterfront, town and the train station. The master bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed (important!). The kitchen was fully equipped with all the basics. Two baths, one with shower, the other with tub. Huge living/dining area with older furnishings but most comfortable. Great TV. Second bedroom if off the living area and has a convertible couch. TWO huge, private terraces with panoramic views including a bit of the sea. Located in a super-quiet and very elegant neighborhood. Those in charge are in genoa, so not always easy to reach. But the "lady-in-charge with an office.residence on the main floor is very nice and most helpful. We really enjoyed dining on the terrace, tending the many plants and flowers (it was Spring) and just hanging out. Rapallo is a great base to take day trips all along the coast. We went to genoa many times (cheap train!) and all the other towns as far down as Levanto and the cinque terre. Don't miss taking the bus to Zoagli and walking their "lungomare."" Same for San Michele in the other direction which is an easy walk from Casa Pick. If you wish to go to Portofino you can walk from Santa Margerita...a beautiful excursion! There are many very good restaurants in Rapallo. Our favorite for pizza was EL PASO (what a name!) which was can always tell the good ones by the number of locals eating there. IL PORTICO was our favorite for pranzo (lunch). Otherwise, just explore on your own and find your own treasures! A great apartment in a super town. You won't be disappointed. I we can, we sure will be back!
