      Nice little cottage

      5 of 5
The little cottage is on the owners property and is very safe and secure. It is a very quiet property away from hustle and bustle tourist area which is nice at the end of the day. The little patio is great for a relaxing glass of wine. It's located at the end of tram # 8 (casaletto) and is only a 2 minute walk to the apt. From Casaletto you are only a 5 minute ride from Trastevere Metro station and another 5 minutes to the heart of Trastevere and all the great restaurants. Take the tram to the other end (Venezia) and you are within walking distance to all the common tourist attractions. There is a really good grocery store at the stop for the Trastevere metro station on the tram. Easy to do with with your metro/tram ticket which is good for 90 minutes. The Vatican is easy to get to with the tram and metro but Kerstin drove us one morning to our Vatican tour which was really nice. We didn't cook other than simple breakfast but the kitchen has everything you need. Air conditioning, wi-fi and washing machine all worked well. The bathroom was large. Everything was very clean. I would recommend this place if you want something quiet at the end of the day and would stay here again. The only negative was that we paid the remainder of the bill when we first got there only to find out we had to pay another 28 euro tax when we were about to leave. We didn't mind paying it but could have been part of the price when first booking or could have paid it altogether when we first got there. I would recommend this place and would stay there again if we ever go back to Rome.
