                  I Loved It

                  5 of 5
I loved the villa. I stayed with my family, first time in Italy. The villa looks just like in the photos, the garden is very pretty with amazing views. we definetely enjoyed the stay in here and would recommend this place to anybody.

Beautiful Renaissance Chapel for a truly Italian experience

                  4 of 5
I have used vrbo.com for beach vacations before and decided to have a look at Florence to see what was listed. I found Residenza Strozzi Cappella Chapel and fell in love with it. My passion is anything Renaissance and I have always wanted to go to Florence. I booked this perfect destination because I felt like if I didn't just do it I would never live my dream of seeing Italy. I wanted to get the full Italian experience of staying in the country side but still being accessible to the city center by bus. Florence was magnificent and Guido was very helpful with any questions I had . The chapel was amazing and comfortable to stay in. There was a good pizza shop at the San Marco square where the bus stopped which I visited daily before beginning my adventures in the city. Even with a Firenze card I barely put a dent in all the wonderful things to see in Florence. I hope to plan a retirement trip in the future to return to this beautiful city and continue exploring all that I didn't get to this trip. Thank you Guido for making my first time to Florence and this special chapel so enjoyable. And it was my birthday, what an awesome way to celebrate my day🙂򠠠Many thanks, I am truly blessed. Margaret

Christmas and New Year's in Florence!

                  5 of 5
Six of us had a wonderful experience for our first trip to Florence, much of it because of the hospitality of the Del Bianco family and this huge villa. We were there 26/12/15-02/01/16 and the villa and its proximity to Florence, Siena and other parts of Tuscany was perfect for us. We enjoyed fixing breakfast and supper in the villa -- we are all amateur cooks! -- and the kitchen was big, well stocked and great. An outdoor grill was a plus! Mariolina, Gaia and their parents helped us with their insights and love of the area. Yes, as Howard R. said in his review the travel to and from the villa was an experience, but a fun memory. His review about the villa is spot on. We did find that the shower on the lower floor was the best one to use. A pocket-sized WiFi hotspot was hit and miss, but worked ok. Yes, it was winter and cold and damp, but we knew that when we booked. We will return when it is warmer!
