Just a Bus Ride Away From Florence

5 of 5
This little gem is tucked away in the little town of Fiesole, on a hill just outside Florence. The little garden boasts olive trees and a good view of the countryside. The apartment is very cozy and modern in an old structure completely remodeled by the owner. Filippo is a very helpful host and he helped make our stay very pleasant. Fiesole has some nice amenities and a Coop (small store) within walking distance. Walk to the piazza and catch the bus to Florence. After seeing the marvels of Renaissance architecture and art, you have a nice place to return to and rest your feet. We had a great time and would love to go back and stay in this inviting flat.

Quaint little property in the country perfect for people that have own transportation

4 of 5
My wife and I stayed one night here while on route to peso to celebrate our anniversary. We were provided with decent directions, however they were confusing with the bus ( we arrived by train). The owner was really good about it even though he didn't speak much English. He went as far is meeting our taxi at a nearby market and waited for us to pick up some groceries and drove us back. It was a great little apartment. His wife spoke a little more English and was able to explain the bus system to us for the following day. The next day they drove us to the bus stop. It's a really beautiful area, however it is outside of Florence. It's best for someone driving through or doesn't want to be in the city that has their own means of transportation. They do have a bus that comes by but we waited over 2 hrs for it. The couple that owns the place really went above and beyond and were very helpful.

A fantastic Property in an Awesome Location

This was our second stay at this fabulous house which has fantastic views especially from the balcony while enjoying a barbecue. The house has everything you need and is a great base to explore the area. I would recommend staying here once in your life. Booking was great and we had good service from the owners.
