Our stay at La Limonella was one to remember. The views are more than pictures can describe - you won't be disappointed. Georgia and her family treat you like a member of the family and were gracious and hospitable the entire time we were there. Examples include the wonderful meal we were served upon our arrival, a personalized cooking lesson, a warm greeting upon each arrival, and even a last minute car ride to town when our taxi failed to arrive. A few things to keep in mind - it's a trek up the mountain and although there is a bus, it will take 15 minutes or so bus ride to make it from town. Not a big deal but you have to work a little to get these amazing views, and don't expect stores up and down the street as the area is more quiet and rural. The room is also adjacent to the restaurant. Privacy is accomplished by a creative use of vegetation, but be aware that nights could be a little busy on the property. We actually thought this was unique and made the experience that much more memorable. One more note about the room - the bathroom area is partitioned via a glass wall. Not the most private but manageable. Overall, I would recommend anyone who is a little adventurous and wants a true taste of Italy to stay at La Tagliata.

                      We love this place

                      5 of 5
As stated in the website, the entire place is remodel based on an old farm house, owner did a very good job keeping the rusty looks of the original farm house. There is are still growing the grapes vine for the wine. It is very interested to have grape vine next to the room. It added the farm house feeling to this property. Guido is also always around the property in case you have question or any issue. The property itself has been maintained under Guido’s family, it is in very good condition. However, this is not your typical American hotel, you will needs some directions around the property to get everything you needed. One noted for people has issue with step stair. This property like most Amalfi coast properties. It is built around the hill side, so it has a lot stairs that are both long and steps. You cannot get around this property without those stairs, if you have an issue with stairs, then, this is not the property for you. The location of the property is in Furore, which is about 8 miles away from the Amalfi coast marina and city center. There few restaurants and pizzeria near by in case you just want stay in and enjoy the view of the room. There is also a grocery stores about half miles away and bus stops is located the same place. However, their operations hours are quite different than what US might be costumed to, so check the store before you making the plan. The parking around the property is free, if you have a car, please noted that among the locations Amalfi Coast that parking is always an issue, the feature along on this properties worth the rental. it would take about 20 minutes driving plus time for parking to get the town square in Amalfi coast. The driving among the Amalfi coastal road is not the easiest things in the world, however, once you get used to it, it is not bad. There is also bus and taxi available, but they service time is very limited and I won’t counted on them to be the only transportation method if you are going to stay in Furore. As for room, the best part of is the views, all of their rooms have the same ocean face views. The difference is only about the balcony size. The rooms itself are spacious, although not luxury, as the farm house should not be. It is equipped with all of the modern amenity such as AC

Amazing local experience with a beautiful view

My wife and I loved the time I spent here. The view was amazing and the people were extremely friendly. Guido was an amazing host providing breakfast each morning and advice on how best to enjoy the coast. My wife and I had a rental car and were able to see all of the coast during our visit.
