            Charming, clean & comfortable.

The house was very traditional with a lot of character and ambience. The garden was well maintained and we enjoyed alfresco dining there. The local cafe bar provided excellent food and drink. the village proved an ideal base for travelling around for cultural and culinary pursuits! We very much enjoyed our stay in the house and the village.

Luxury Retreats was the right choice!

Everyone we dealt with at Luxury Retreats were true professionals. From our initial sales person to our concierge right through to the 24/7 team who helped us retrieve our lost luggage, we received personal, professional, courteous service. This really helped since we were traveling with a family group of 23. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a Luxury Retreats representative who introduced us to our villa manager. From there, we were given a tour of our beautiful villa. We knew our villa would be nice, but nothing prepared us for how truly spectacular it was. Situated just south of the Lucca city center, it was built for nobility. The villa was immaculate and impeccably remodeled, staying true to its Tuscan origin. The staff was fantastic! Isabella, our chef, and her assistants made us the most incredible meals. Sometimes we ate in the huge, formal dining room and other times we ate al fresco by the fountains. The entire experience was breathtaking and we hope to visit again.
