                    Peaceful and secluded

                    5 of 5
We spent 4 luxurious nights in Il Fienile, a beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment with lovely views of the valley and medieval town. With a full size kitchen we were able to cook some yummy meals with the produce we purchased at the market in town. I really enjoyed just gazing out the windows, especially at night when they light up Monte San Savino. The beds were very comfortable and the location is extremely quiet. We made enjoyable side trips to Cortona and Siena but also enjoyed the local market day in Monte San Savino as well as walking amongst the olive trees. My kids really enjoyed the pool. Daniel was very helpful and I wish we could have spent more time getting to know him. I would highly recommend a stay at his beautiful farm.

Perfect Home Base for Tuscany Day Trips, Great Apartment

                    5 of 5
We spent a lovely fall week in the one bedroom Il Granaio apartment. The apartment was beautifully restored, the high wood beam ceilings and arched windows set the tone for the well furnished rooms, huge bath and shower, and a well equipped kitchen. We did much of our own cooking, shopping daily in the nearby old town or the very well stocked Coop supermarket just a few minutes drive away. Even though all three apartments were full, it was very quiet and private, and the views from the apartment were spectacular. In less than an hours drive we visited Florence and her museums, Sienna's stone walls and towers, Cortona's steep ancient stone streets, and several of the multitude of nearby wineries. Driving in Italy was very easy, the mountain roads and views were amazing, however be sure to bring or rent a GPS (I only got lost by design). Daniel and Manuela were perfect hosts, responding to every request quickly yet allowing us privacy in the beautiful country setting, and shared with us their house made wine. We were able to watch them harvest and crush the 2015 crop, we hope to be back to sample the finished product in a few years. Out first trip to Italy and Tuscany, we felt welcome, comfortable, and highly recommend the area and especially Villa Ceppeto hosted by Daniel and Manuela.

A once in a life time experience.

My family and I had a lot of fun in Italy even tho we found it to be expensive. We rented four cars. All had GPS. We got lost anyway. Parking is difficult. Our family drivers are excellent, but, we ended with $500.00 in parking fines. ( In spite of how careful we thought we were). Tuscany is beautiful. It is more mountainous than I imagined it to be. The wine, the pizzas, the pasta, the gelato is outstanding. We liked the Italian people. We all enjoyed castle living. However, some of the bed mattresses were not as good as one would like. The housekeeper/cook (Nerella) was very helpful...and, a good cook! We enjoyed her.
