Idyllic Location on Ring of Kerry

                5 of 5
My family of 12 stayed the Barralach cottages for a week and they were everything we could have hoped for. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate our group. Everything was clean, comfortable, and in good working order. The main cottage made a great place for everyone to hang out until people were ready to retire for the night in their own rooms. The kitchen had all the appliances and tableware you could possibly need - and we put it to good use, cooking dinner at least half the nights we were there. The dining room table was big enough to allow all of us to eat dinner together and also served as a good gaming table for our nightly game of dominoes or cards. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the views are spectacular and there are hiking trails that lead right from the house to the top of the hill for even more viewing and picture taking opportunities. My nephew got engaged on our trip and the backdrop provided spectacular engagement pictures (my husband is an amateur photographer). I would highly recommend the cottages for anyone visiting southern Ireland. And Peter, the host, was very responsive with the few questions we had during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

                Fantastic House!

                5 of 5
We loved this house. Great value for the money. We'd definitely stay here again. The house was in excellent shape, everything we needed was there. Marie was a great help with advice on what to do, where to eat, and how to get places. We had scones and cookies there upon our arrival. She did a great job of communicating with us all the way through. We'd definitely come back here again.

Stone cottage was nothing short of incredible

                5 of 5
The stone farmhouse was already booked for our visit, so Maura, the owner, suggested her Stone Cottage at the very end of Brandon Point. It was just the two of us and it sounded quaint and the photos were lovely. It exceeded our expectations on every level. The very last dwelling on the tip of Brandon Point with spectacular views of the Bay and the sunrises over the Maharee Islands. Hiking right outside the door through sheep pastures overlooking the Atlantic. Very convenient location for trips over Connor Pass to Dingle and the Slea Head Drive. O'Donnells Pub in Clochán so close for delicious food and a warm inviting atmosphere. Cottage was cozy secluded and just what we were looking for. Maura and her husband Seamus were so kind and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer. Very highly recommend!
