Stunning setting overlooking the Dingle Peninsula

        5 of 5
The pictures on HomeAway just don't portray this home's setting, it's a spectacular setting, virtually on the Tralee Golf Club with views for miles over the Dingle Peninsula, Tralee Bay, and the Atlantic. The home's furnishings are updated and stylish with plenty of room, and every kitchen feature you will require. The outdoor patio is where you'll spend most of your time, assuming the weather cooperates, I guess you'd utilize the game room if it doesn't! The location was very convenient for our golf based location with Ballybunion, Dooks, Dingle, Killarney all within an hour's drive, and Tralee right next door.

        5 star comfort!

        5 of 5
Its hard to give this little gem of a getaway enough credit wothout sounding like the owner! We spent a week in this magnificiently situated cottage on the Ring of Kerry at the end of July and have only good things to report. We were greeting and shown around the property from a friendly and welcoming local lady called Dora, who showed us everything we need to know to relax and enjoy this recently refurbished cottage. The house radiates warmth at all times thanks to its underfloor heating which means that even after a long day exploring the surrounds, the house is a welcoming warm place to retreat to. Every room is equipped with all the modern conveniences that one could imagine neccesary but none of this takes away from the cosy cottage feel of the house. The living room boosts views straight out across the bay at one end and a cosy open fire at the other for the nights in with a glass of wine and movie and your feet up. A glorious conservatory has been added to the house with views of the mountains behind and of the sea to the front. Straight across the bay is the famous Kerry town of Dingle and this is where the sun sets in the evening. The owners have built an veranda which means that nice evenings can be spent watching the sun go down with a BBQ to entertain. The cottage is spacious and sleeps 6 comfortably without ever feeling crowded. 5 minutes away is a family friendly beach and the Ring of Kerry offers numerous activities to fill the days before returning home to this welcoming little gem. This is without doubt, the nicest self catering accommodation, I have encountered in Ireland as it loses none of the quaint cottage feel but includes all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. Enjoy your stay, no doubt we will be returning!
