We enjoyed our stay very much. We travelled for a month, and spent a week of that time here at St. Helen's Village, near Rosslare Harbor. The area was very peaceful; it is an easy walk to the beach, and the adjacent golf course has a very easy going country club that welcomes non members. The bed was comfortable -- there were just the two of us, so the other bedrooms went unused. The bathrooms were fine; very little flow to the shower but that may be a thing in Ireland. We appreciated the combo washer-dryer, and appreciated that the instruction booklet was there for us as well. The kitchen worked great! My husband's only comment was that he could have used anothger frying pan and a sharp knife.
Pam had everything in very good order for us with wonderful, detailed, instructions. There was a delightful sunroom, which was something of an added bonus. The nearby grocers was well stocked. We drove into the town of Wexford a few times and found it to be both charming and welcoming. We attended church at St. Tiberius, and many of the members offered ideas for restaurants and outings; I should note that Pam offered even more.
One of the things I have found that makes a difference is the care and concern of the owner or manager. I found Pam to be truly hospitable, and I very much appreciate her attention to detail.
