I was staying in Indianapolis for 11 days to attend Reppert's Auction School and Kayla & Dan went out of their way to make sure my stay was great! I had mentioned that I would be in class for about 13hrs/day and was curious what type of coffee maker was in the carriage house and when I arrived, I was surprised to find that Kayla & Dan had set up a whole "coffee station" for me (coffee, filters, creamer, 2 types of sugar, and 2 new coffee mugs, including a travel mug)! The coffee was MUCH appreciated! They had also made a nice list of recommended restaurants and places to see along with a note wishing me good luck at school! The bed was very comfortable, there's a big TV, excellent water pressure & plenty of hot water, linens such as towels & bedding & additional bedding in the closet were provided, there were ice cubes already made in the freezer, a/c was on when I arrived, there's a full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, top loading washer & dryer, and I LOVED the closet space where I was able to hang up my nicer outfits! The apartment was very clean and the a/c unit + 2 ceiling fans made the room temperature easy to control! The neighborhood is called the "Old Northside" and has many beautiful, historic homes. I felt very safe at the carriage house; nice part of town and you can enter the carriage house right from inside the private garage. Location is excellent: 3 minute drive to downtown. Owners would have been easy to reach if I had needed anything as they reside in the main house on the property & they each provided me with a phone # to reach them if I had any questions. I loved my stay in Indianapolis & am so happy that I found this rental! Kayla & Dan made my stay wonderful & I will definitely be staying with them next time I am in the area! Thank you Kayla & Dan for your outstanding hospitality & superb accommodations!
