        lovely

        5 of 5
we so enjoyed staying in this beautifullu decorated apartment, lovely comfy bed, plenty of room for family and friends, nice livingroom with all the amenities, and the kitchen was very well equipped should you want to eat in rather than at one of the many delicious restaurants in selfoss. we were also happy with plenty of hot water and laundry facilites should you have need of them. we thoght selfoss was nicely appointed, easy to drive to otherplaces and the informatuon and maps in the house were super useful. thankyou for providing a lovely stay, great for a couple like us, or family or group of friends

        Quiet Northern Lights Escape

        5 of 5
We originally chose this place because of it's seclusion from Reykjavik or any other large cities. Our goal was to see the northern lights and this place didn't disappoint. Every cloudless night while we were there, the aurora was clearly visible with virtually no light pollution. It made for an awe inspiring and romantic getaway. The location was great for more than just the lights though. The cabin is a short drive from adventures like the golden circle, the silfra snorkeling site, and Eldhestar horse stables. The cabin was like a second home. The kitchen was stocked with all of the utensils and tools you could need not to mention plenty of spices. The view outside the expansive living room window was beautiful and a basket full of slippers ensured we were always cozy. Slightly off the beaten path, this cabin is an easily accessible gem and a wonderful place to stay when enjoying the wonderful land of Iceland.
