Great location, stylish accommodations, not a great bed

          4 of 5
This apartment was great for our 3-day stay in Oberammergau: it has a decent kitchen with four stovetop burners, an oven and a hot water jug, plus a large fridge and freezer. There is a washer/dryer off the entranceway (owner requests €2/load), good wifi and free parking in a public lot around the corner. The bathroom is very spacious with a deep soaker tub and great water pressure in the shower. The only real drawback was the bed: it's very uncomfortable (not level) and creaky. Every time either of us rolled over, it was so loud the other would wake up. That was honestly was the only downside... with a better bed, it would be a five-star property. Even so, we recommend it!

Charming place in a quaint Bavarian town.

Our family had a wonderful 3 night stay in this unique Oberammergau cottage. Clean and well maintained it offered all the we were looking for. An easy walk to the beautiful little town where many attractive shops and good restaurants await. Convenient jumping off point for day trips to Munich, Kings Castles and Zugspitz. Harald made us feel welcome and was readily available for anything that we might need. If you are looking for a real Bavarian experience... this is the place.

We loved it here. It is off the beaten path in a good way. Beautiful setting and apartment. I would only recommend staying here for a trip to the area. Fair price too. Convenience store immediately across the street. We highly recommend it.
