EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!

5 of 5
I highly recommend this house for anyone-- families, singles, couples, for a long-term, or short-term stay. I stayed here by myself for over a month, during a job/home transition. Not only did it turn out feeling like my home, it was perfect getaway vacation house. The property is equipped with everything imaginable-- 2 bedrooms, spacious living room, well kept up, and kitchen had everything I needed. The most memorable part was the immaculate view of the city, especially the city lights at night. For families with kids, there is a tree house, zip line, and meadows down the mountain-- great for hiking and picnics. I got more than I imagined for the price. The owners are extremely friendly, quick to respond to anything, flexible, and give you privacy if needed. I couldn't ask for a better location-- it's close to downtown Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, Hamilton Place Mall area, and plenty of great restaurants (go to Sugar’s Ribs down the street). My kids loved the place-- we made S'mores and roasted hotdogs over the fire pit, hiked through the meadows/woods, played in the treehouse, and enjoyed the spacious living room watching Super-bowl!! I personally would look no further if I needed to stay in Chattanooga again. Thank you Mark and Nancy!! It was perfect!!

Cozy weekend

5 of 5
Our trip was a spur of the moment decision to feed our 2 yr old's growing interest in trains, and everything Thomas! We spent our time visiting friends in town, taking train rides, riding the carousel in Coolidge Park, and taking in all things aquatic at the amazing Aquarium. The house is conveniently located near to everything! I don't think we drove more than 10 mins to many of our destinations. The neighborhood is quiet, except for the occasional dog barking. One downfall to it being a duplex and a home built in the 1900's is the noise from the guests next door. It was rough keeping the kiddo asleep the first night. But, putting that aside, the house is tastefully decorated, offers almost every basic amenity you would need (although we could not find a tea pot - we are Brits, so love our tea), and the beds were extremely comfortable! One note about the twin bedroom, it does not have a formal door, and is right next to the staircase, so if you have young kids, I would suggest bringing a baby gate. Another pitfall is the single bathroom, so if you have more than one couple staying there, or if you are using the upstairs bedrooms, a trek down the stairs is a shlep. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the home, and we would definitely return on a future trip.

Comfortable apartment on quiet street

5 of 5
We stayed on the second floor of the house. It was clean, well maintained and had plenty of amenities, such as towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies, spices, coffee, etc. Bebe provided clear instructions before we got there on how to access the property, and where to find things. The beds were comfortable (mattresses were in good shape), including the air mattress they provided which we set up in the living room. The property is on a quiet street about one mile from downtown and the aquarium. However, it is a long downhill mile to get there. Also, not far from the aquarium is Tony's Pasta, which I highly recommend. If you are a hiker/trekker, check out Snoopers Rock at Prentice Cooper WMA. I highly recommend this property for someone looking for a comfortable, clean and quiet place.
