This was our first ever trip to Lyon, and the little "wooden house" was fabulous as was the hostess. The comfortable and quiet lodging is an independent small dwelling built into the owners garden. Surrounded by other buildings, it is incredibly quiet. You would never know the city exists outside the garden walls. The hosts serve a B&B style breakfast every morning at a time of your choosing with fruit juices, coffee or tea, croissants, and other breakfast treats. The lodging also includes a Nespresso for making your own beverages, tea facilities, and a small refrigerator. Just outside the gated entrance there is a bus stop for easy access into town if you would rather ride than walk, and you are located close to several good restaurants. This is the best place we stayed in our 30-day trip to Europe, primarily because of the comfortable, quiet lodging and the attentions of the hostess.
