              Wonderfully relaxing stay!

              5 of 5
I stayed with two friends at Finn Haus and loved it. The home is spacious and well maintained. Be aware that the town closes down pretty early. Nothing was open after 9:00 pm. The Cocci grocery was a great place for supplies, affordable wine, and fresh bakery. It is just a mile or two away.

Perfect location for large group as a base

              4 of 5
My family was visiting the area in Normandy to see the area and all of the landing beaches. This house was exactly as advertised, and was in the perfect central location to use as a base. The setting is gorgeous, waking each day to the view of the old church, and the horses across the lane. The neighborhood was very quiet as well. We had cars, and Bayeux was about 20 minutes driving, and Caen about 10 - 20 depending on where in the city you were going. We had no problem finding the area and all the sites we wanted to see. Would definitely return to the area and the house and would recommend it to others. If you are in the area, we would also recommend a tour of the Canadian war memorials, which we did through Viator Tours (1/2 day, Canadian sites, although other similar sites and tours are available). This tour really made our trip - the guide was incredible and we were so happy to have done it. Our only suggestion for this house would be a set of English instructions or introductions to the area (perhaps including details like suggested restaurants, nearby grocer, etc).
