                  A wonderful, friendly stay!

One never knows what to expect on arrival but our stay in Soultzeren exceeded every expectation!!! Gabby and Annelise were the perfect hosts and we were made to feel like family from the first minute. The apartment is on the second floor of their lovely home. It is spacious and has two bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The kitchen/dining area was well-equipped lots of pots and pans, dishes and serving pieces. The views from every window are outstanding. This home is in the mountains very close to Muenster. There is SO much to do and see in the area. We stayed 3 weeks and feel that we have just"scratched the surface". We will definitely be going back to this great place and would highly recommend it. It helps to know a little French or German as the hosts speak very little English...but no matter, their warmth and hospitality speak the same in any language.

Lovely apartment, great location for exploring Alsace.

All of the charm, but none of the tourist crowds, Hunawihr is a perfect place to set up a home base for exploring the area. We were able to walk to either Riquewihr or Ribeauville in about 15 or 20 minutes when we felt like something different. There is lots to see and do with many areas of interest nearby. We only stayed 4 days, but wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment is very comfortable, very well renovated and charmingly decorated. Bertrand and Penelope were very helpful getting us settled, answering questions and even providing us with hiking maps in the area. Loved our stay!

                  Wonderful Family, Wonderful Visit

                  5 of 5
Our American family was traveling across Europe and we needed one overnight accommodation in the Alsace area. After several emails, we decided to stay with Sylvie and Denis and their family. Sylvie and Denis are wonderful, kind and informative hosts, providing a wonderful meal following a long day of driving, the next morning leading us to a nearby "flea market" for some genuine Alsace shopping--exactly the experience I wanted for my family. The only issue we had is that their house is not easy to find, even with GPS. Hopefully they will post a sign on their driveway when you visit!! But we highly recommend this location to all.
