                gorgeous and peaceful

This is a stunningly beautiful spot with views of Mt Ventoux and vineyards all around. The mezzanine includes a balcony that we used to stargaze and look out over the mountains and nearby villages. The serene countryside made it a very restful and peaceful vacation. We spent 8 nights here with our teens, who enjoyed the pool and bike riding on the country roads surrounding it. Nearby Nyons is an easy 7km bike away and offers great shopping and many restaurants. Venterol is the next village over, and offers a farmer's market on Saturdays (with wonderful produce, olives, and olive oil), an excellent boulangerie, where we bought our bread and pastries, and two restaurants. Twice we walked there for dinner in the lovely, leafy square (only 1.8km) and walked back by starlight. Sylvie and Pascal were very helpful and friendly. Pascale will organize bikes for you and bring them to the gite. This is a piece of paradise we would happily visit again.
