                As beautiful as it looks.

We had the loveliest stay at this property. The view is unbeatable. Yung and Bernard are excellent hosts. We stayed in the bungalow which is one large, uniquely shaped room plus a bathroom with a roomy shower. There is a small kitchenette. The decorations are very tasteful and add to the ambiance. Giant windows overlook the heated infinity pool, the Mediterranean, and the nearby dramatic hills. Both sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Some of the windows can be opened to let the breeze in, but there is also an air conditioner and fan available. It's kind of like being in a really cool treehouse for adults. The stone steps leading up the the bungalow add to the character but are steep and curved, so those with bad knees might prefer the lower level apartment which still has stairs but is less daunting. A boulangerie, grocery store, morning market, and charcuterie are all to be found in Beaulieu-sur-Mer which is about a 20 minute trip. There was free parking under the grocery. From here it is easy to explore Monaco, Eze the perched medieval village, and even Nice is a reasonable distance. Bernard and Yung have plenty of useful tips and recommendations. This place stays on the keeper list and we will be back.

It doesn't get better than this

We know this area very well already but this is the best place we've stayed at in the South of France. The Villa and Pool are fantastic. The location is a perfect base for sightseeing and exploring the countryside or the coast. The sun shines onto the terrace first thing in the morning and sets early enough behind hills to have cooler evening meals out there. We were two families (4 Adults, 4 Children) and the villa never felt crowded and the pool area was comfortable and fun. In fact the pool is the jewel in the crown, not too much chlorine, which has been a problem for us elsewhere and large enough for all of us! We had temperatures in the mid thirties and so the air conditioning did come in handy while we watched the World Athletic Championships on TV in the middle of the day. The rooms are light and airy and spacious and the double beds so large that the kids did not mind doubling up together. Frank and Evelyn stayed in touch by SMS in case we needed anything, which was great, and Andre and Chantal were very friendly and on hand if we needed them. We would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to have a relaxing holiday a little way away from the hustle and bustle of Nice or the coastal resorts.
