It couldn't get any better !

                                      5 of 5
My wife and I spent the first month of our stay in Paris in this apartment and would gladly return to it without hesitation. It is wonderfully situated on the Odéon plaza and provided a window on the world of everything that is so intriguing about this phenomenal city. A book could be written on the plaza in front of the old theater with something different taking place on an almost daily basis and we felt we got to know the waiters and waitresses of the theater cafe on a personal basis, their customers and the myriad of different people that either parked their motorbikes in the plaza, walked through regularly on their way to/from work, or left their drivers with their exotic vehicles in front of the high-end restaurant immediately adjacent to the apartment. And the apartment is incredibly located regardless of where in Paris you want to go. It was a five minute walk down to the Odéon stop on the #4/10 Metro on the Blvd. St. Germain and more restaurants/cafes/bistros than you can count, less than a block to an entrance into the Jardin de Luxembourg and all of the beauty and different activities it offered, 5 minutes or less to a large, well-stocked Metroprix on the Blvd St Michel, 4 minutes to a wonderful "English" bookstore(The San Francisco Bookstore) where you can buy almost any book you can think of written in English, 5 minutes to the Sorbonne or the Cluny, etc., etc. etc. In short, it was convenient to EVERYTHING ! We(both in our 70's) even walked to the Eiffel Tower, the Bastille and the Catacombs, Montparnasse and the Cemetaire Montparnasse, The Marais, The Musée de Orsay, the Louvre, and walked back from beyond the Arc de Triomphe on one occasion. But if this sort of exercise is not in your wheelhouse, taxi service is easily available and, as previously mentioned, it is no more than 5 minutes on foot to an entrance into the best Metro system in the world that, with one or more connections, will take you anywhere in Paris you ever want to go ! Once you develop some familiarity with the Metro, you will use it regularly and love the convenience, the quality and frequency of service and the low cost of first rate transportation. I've run out of space! It is a wonderful place to stay in Paris, we'd gladly return in a heartbeat. Only issues:lack of a dryer and that the a/c wasn't reliable(Americans are truly spoiled by great central a/c !) during a week of high heat/humidity.

In the heart of Saint Germain !

                                      4 of 5
We moved to this apartment from another to accommodate the arrival of our son and his family, and it was a perfect solution to our needs. By Parisian standards, or almost any other large city in Europe, this apartment is HUGE ! There were two bedrooms, one very large with a full bath facility, and separated from the rest of the apartment by the kitchen and this made an ideal place for my son, his wife and our two small granddaughters. It was quiet and dark and faced an interior "courtyard". Our bedroom was on the front and overlooked the narrow and extremely busy rue Saint-André des Arts, a hub of activity from about noon each day until sometimes close to 4AM ! Superb windows shut out almost 100% of the noise from the street but when it's hot outside, as it was, this isn't a luxury you can afford despite some very good fans in each living area. But as for the spaciousness and location of the apartment, both are nonpareil. Less than a long block from the Seine, two blocks to Notre Dame, 10 minutes to the Louvre, 4 minutes to a great Metroprix, and less than 100 feet to a Metro and a bakery right underneath you - how do you improve upon this ? Even the 38 steep, winding steps up to the apartment proved to be no problem and we often went up and down 3 or more times daily, and we're in our 70's. We had no major issues during our almost 3 week stay and the staff of Glamaparis was very responsive on the few times we had a question and were also quite helpful getting us situated into the unit. Due to the steep steps, this probably is not the best place for someone with any ambulatory issues, and might be best suited to younger groups, but we loved it and got to know some of the local food vendors and restaurant and shop owners. And there was lots to do with our 2 and 5 year old granddaughters in close proximity to the unit(Luxembourg Gardens, a child's paradise, is about a 10 minute walk) and, unlike us, they loved the stairs !!! One of the two sofas in the living area easily pulled out into a large and very comfortable bed that the kids or I used on a couple of occasions. If space and location and fun and activity are at the top of your priority list and street noise and steep steps are not an issue, this unit deserves your consideration ! My rating would be five stars but for the street noise(remember my age !) and having to keep the windows open because of the summer heat and humidity.

Fantastic in Every Way for Two People

                                      5 of 5
We stayed in this apartment in late July 2016 for two weeks, while both of us were working in Paris. We loved it and will stay there again if we can. The pre-arrival communications, financial issues, check-in, and check-out were flawlessly smooth. The apartment was exactly as expected and well-appointed. The bedroom is at the rear, between large and small light/air wells. It has great air circulation, if one uses the provided fan, and was cool every evening, even when the heat got to be pretty intense during the day. The area around the apartment is great, with all of the necessary services. The one thing to know is that the second sleeping area, which we did not use, is the sofa bed in the living room. There is plenty of space for the bed. However, in the summer, with long days and heat, the way to cool that space is by opening the three windows that face rue Mazarine. That is a pretty busy street, with buses and early garbage truck/delivery traffic going to the markets on rue Buci. So, if the windows are open, it can be a bit loud for sleeping in the early morning and/or on Friday and Saturday nights due to people noise. However, it was not too loud to enjoy the living space in the evening with just ordinary street noise. Also, the bathroom is off of the bedroom. Therefore, two couples would really need to get along well to share the space. In sum, this is a great apartment for a couple in the summer and would also be good for four in the spring/fall, when there is not a need to open the front windows to sleep.
