Very good apartment and good district, very quiet with everything near pharmacy, supermarket, station subway. And the proprietary is very educate and good person. I recommend for everyone.

Solid apartment in Paris inner suburbs

4 of 5
The apartment is spacious for a family of four or even five. Location is in a safe, middle class neighbourhood with seven minute walks to several Metro stops on two lines. The building is clean and safe. We had no problems. It is a good run to the sights downtown: 40 minutes to Musee D'Orsey for instance. The real jewel of this rental is the Parc La Villette near by. This is an amazing park for kids with a science museum, huge outdoor playgrounds and multiple fun diversions.

Very clean, comfortable & spacious

5 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay at Boris' place. We were welcomed by 2 bottles of wine, a great loaf of bread, & a variety of food. It was a nice quiet haven to return to after the bustle of Paris. It was clean & had everything we needed & so nice to have a kitchen to cook in & living room to relax in- so much better than a hotel. The neighborhood is great- very few tourists, so you live like a local. There are many places to buy food in the area & many great restaurants including several that have vegetarian food ( hard to find in meat oriented Paris !)- a vegetarian Chinese & a couscous restaurant around the corner as well. Be sure to check out the street market just down the street or the 1 a few blocks away near the Belleville Metro. The apartment is located near 2 subway lines & many bus routes so it's very convenient. the only downside to being in the outskirts of the center of Paris is that it takes a bit longer to get into the city center- 1/2 hour subway &/or bus ride. But if you want to avoid the tourist crowds & live like a Parisian it would be worth it to you. It is not far from the Canal St. Martin, but is closer to & feels more like the Belleville district. Boris was very helpful with suggestions about places to visit & logistics. & his English was much better than our French! The only issue we had was that there was construction going on that Boris was unaware of until we arrived. The terrace was covered in plastic & scaffolding. Boris very sweetly came over & secretly covered the scaffolding with Christmas decorations. & since it was cold & cloudy ( typical weather for Paris in December), we didn't want to hang out on the terrace anyway. Though in nice weather it would be a lovely place to chill out! Thanks Boris for a great place to stay in Paris!
