Sublime, stylish, serenity in prime Paris 11th

                    5 of 5
We have stayed several times in this magical house. Hidden in the centre of classic Parian block in a funky and fashionable 'hood, a warehouse-style conversion decades ahead of its time in quirky style and innovative design. Two wings of glass wrap around a lush courtyard with a fishpond and waterlilies. There's comfortable & private accommodation for three couples with their own baths and a 4th bedroom with a shared bath if required. The light-filled conservatory-style lounge and dining space are delightful spaces day and night, and there is a second living/TV/library if people want to do their own thing. They layout would be perfect for a group of friends who want their own retreats, or for families with middle-sized to bigger kids (little ones would need close watching near stairs and pond). A minute's walk to 2 Metro lines, and not much more to Bastille, Republic or the Marais. There's a fabulous farmer's market 2 mornings a week on Richard Lenoir where you can stock up and cheese and more if you fancy self catering with fresh French produce. This house has a heart and soul that is quite unlike anything you'd find in a hotel. Cosy chic rather than off-the-rack lavish. Can't wait to get back!

                    Great accommodation

                    4 of 5
Everything was ready for check in at 2, accessible to metro and bakery. Nice walk at night with lots of restaurants. Owner left initial supple of food and commodities, including oil, pasta, rice and coffee. Over all, great experience except for the pickpocketing, specially in metro during rush hours, I got my cell pickpocketed.
