Our stay was very nice. The property was beautiful and very comfortable. I, myself, stayed in the downstairs Master bedroom and I'd LOVE to know what kind of mattress was on that particular bed! It was wonderful.
The only things I would say that could be improved upon would be that a roll of extra toilet paper in the bathroom would be nice as well as a box of Kleenex. Blowing your nose on toilet paper isn't comfortable and then when you run out of toilet paper without an extra roll, you're headed for troubles of a different sort.
In the downstairs Master bedroom, not sure about the upstairs rooms since I didn't sleep in those, it was hard to get to sleep initially because the vertical blinds don't go all the way over to cover the whole sliding door and neither do the actual curtains. The only thing covering most of the window is a sheer. That let a streetlight shine in the glass door all night as well as the moon. For anyone like myself who needs it dark to sleep, that presented a problem. I was resourceful though and found a blanket in the closet that I draped over the curtain rod to block out as much light as I could:.
For those that aren't aware, it's against the law to block a sidewalk even if it's part of a driveway. One of the people with me got a ticket. She got there at 4:00 a.m. and by 5 something she had been issued a ticket. It cost her $50. Just a reminder. Be careful how you park. You can't park in the street overnight either, so figure out your parking situation if your cars don't fit without covering the sidewalk.
The place was really nice though and was pretty clean. My contact person with the realty was just wonderful to deal with and she made the stay even more pleasant. It was very reasonably priced for the time of year we went . I would definitely stay there again. If I'm ever going down to that area again for something such as what I was there for before, I'll try to stay in this same house. If it's not available, I'd look to see if the owners of this one had any others!
