          Sunshine wonderland!

          5 of 5
What a wonderful winter we had in Big Pine Key! The house was wonderfully decorated, filled with most everything we needed. It is within walking distance to the bridge to Name No Key, in the midst of a nature preserve and overlooking a beautiful canal. Wildlife abounded and I hear the fishing was great although we are not fishers. The outside screened in deck was a favorite perch most times of the day thanks to the overhead fans. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and light entertaining. Short drive to Key West and Marathon for shopping and more restaurants. Can't wait to go back next year!

          Tidy and Cozy

My husband and I and our dog, Dudley, spent three weeks here. We chose this place because we wanted to be near enough to visit some of our favorite places in Key West, but also enjoy the more relaxed activities of the Lower Keys. The unit is comfortable with an efficient air conditioning unit, and an excellent shower, WiFi service, and TV. We aren't "pool people", but we did go swimming twice when no one else was using the pool and had a great time on our own. My husband caught one fish from the dock, but I am sure there are more to be caught. Across the road is the bike and hiking trail that parallels much of the Over Seas Highway. There are salt ponds beside the trail, so most mornings when we took our walks we saw herons and pelicans and such.

Really enjoyed our stay, very dog friendly! We travel with our dog Pedro, and he loved being able to swim in the ocean. Great restaurants nearby, Bella's was really good Italian. Would stay here again.
