Pinewood Country Estates: House Rentals (3)

        Recent Pinewood Country Estates Reviews

        Lovely spacious home, great location

We had a wonderful time here the first week of January. The house has lots of room- the master on the ground floor has a huge bathroom and walk in closet, there is a second bathroom on the ground floor, BR2 upstairs is quite large as well, and the other two smaller bedrooms are good sizes for kids. We had two teens in one of these rooms, and the mattresses are a little small (and creaky!) Kitchen is nicely stocked with plates, dishes utensils etc, although there are minimal pantry items (only salt and pepper). Some other common basics items would be a nice bonus (spices, condiments, cooking oil etc). Still, grocery store only a few minutes drive away. The pool and backyard area are quite nice, and very clean. Note the hot tub is not really a separate "jaccuzzi" style, rather the place where heated water comes out first (so is usually warmer than the main pool). Still, Antonio cranked up the heat for us ahead of time, so the entire pool was nice and warm and we spent lots of free time here. Garage has additional house supplies handy for the pool or going to the beach (pool toys, extra umbrella, bikes, a cooler). Lots of towels, both bath and beach variety. We had temperatures in the mid 20s (Celsius), all BRs have fans and most of the time that was all that was needed. But the a/c was there for when it got a little too hot. Nice high ceiling and a good fan for the living room to keep it comfortable in the main living space. Location is great for theme parks, about 5-10 min from the I-4, then another 20-30 min depending on which one you go to that day. There is a retail plaza with a publix (groceries) along the way, under 5 min from the house. A CVS (pharmacy) is on the opposite corner. A little distant from beaches (about 1.5 hours from st. Pete's/gulf, same to cocoa beach on the Atlantic), but fine if you use the full day for a trip. BTW, the drive to cocoa beach is much nicer, if you are tired of suburban sprawl! Antonio and Maira manage the property, and were very responsive, and pleasant to deal with. They were quite accommodating to let us check out a little later (noon instead of 10am) since our flight was not until later in the day. We would definitely recommend, and will consider renting again for future trips.
