            Cozy!

            4 of 5
We wanted to stay over after a day in Ocala National Forrest and this place was close, convenient and clean. Very close to downtown Sanford, but still quiet and safe ... lots of easy parking! The hosts were very friendly and helpful as well. (Would be a 5-star if there was a tub for bubble bath - but the shower is very roomy and the water is hot!)

            Beautiful scenery; Ideal getaway

The cottage was situated about 20 minutes from downtown DeLand on a beautiful horse farm. We loved waking up in the morning and strolling around while drinking coffee. The owner, Jean, was accomodating of every request and Debbie, who works with the horses, was full of knowledge and always happy to answer questions. On a couple of mornings it was really foggy and the whole place was like something out of a fairy tale. There are two thing to be aware of before you go - driving in this area at night is DARK. It is rural. So just be careful. Also, the water has a lot of sulfur in it (actually all of DeLand's water seems to be like this to varying degrees). If that is a problem, bring jugs of water with you to drink and brush your teeth.

            Pleasant Stay

            5 of 5
Had a wonderful stay early June for my son's baseball tournament. Very tranquil property and Carolyn (host) was exceptional. Great communication. Property is close to everything yet remote enough to end each day peacefully quiet. Awesome sunrises. Highly recommended.
