On the Water, Where I Love to be!

        5 of 5
Coming over the 17th St Bridge, you already knew that the location was fantastic. The ocean view, the beautiful yachts and homes were our greeting. Capt Ed met outside the boat (parking right there). He gave a tour of the Seatrek and explained how a few things worked, along with leaving a "House Rules" and how to's sheet. It's a floating condo. Everything on the boat was exactly as it was described, clean, well maintained, easy access and the best location. The airport is only 15 min. away and the beach is only a few minutes away as well. There were so many restaurants and not enough time to enjoy them all. Capt Ed gave us a few suggestions that we did use. Shopping was also just a few minutes away. We were able to get food and drinks to snack on while we were relaxing at the boat. We went to Las Olas Blvd On the beach, got a few souvenirs and had a swim in the ocean. We did take a cruise on the Seatrek and stopped at the Bahia Cabana for cocktails and the best burgers. The Capt pointed out and had some great stories about some of the homes on the Intracoastal. "The Miami Vice house", He showed us "Little Florida" which is a property that is shaped like Florida with a beautiful house set back on it. It's a landmark there. All in all our mini vacation was a memorable one. I will definitely do this again, maybe next time it will be a "Girlfriends" adventure. This was so much nicer and more personal than staying in a hotel.

        Great Home, Great Location!!!

        5 of 5
Our group which consisted of 9 adults and 3 children had an amazing time. Everyone had plenty of space. The home is represented well in the listing and all of the previous reviews are accurate and I feel compelled to only mention what is not covered in previous reviews. I would add that the home is well supplied with towels, and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc... Also there is no shortage of space to keep your beverage cold. In addition to the refrigerator in the kitchen there is also a wine fridge, mini fridge at the Tiki bar, mini fridge in the dinning area and also a separate ice maker. We brought our 28' boat and I was hoping to be able to use the lift but because the boat is an inboard, the bunk boards were not tall enough to clear the running gear. We kept the boat in the water opposite to the boat lift with the bow out and used the pylons in the water to moor the boat from all 4 corners. Even with the heavy boat traffic in the area this mooring configuration worked well and this made the approach to the dock and departure a breeze. The boat did not have any growth on it after being in the water for the week. The week was great, everyone had a blast and the folks in our group are wanting to do it again. I highly recommend!!!
