Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Coral Reef Club. We stayed in unit 49 the week of June 1 - June 8. It was clean and well maintained with convenient parking and the oceanfront balcony was just breathtaking. The living room was a bit small to comfortably accommodate our family of 9 and the loft bedroom lacked storage space. Our family enjoyed the convenient location to all the shops and restaurants. The biggest issue we had was with the beach service. Upon our arrival and first day on the beach, we were told that our condo came with a complementary set of chairs and an umbrella. Any additional sets would be $15 per set per day. We paid for 2 additional sets for that first day and 2 additional sets for the next day. On Monday, our 2nd full day on the beach at around noon we were informed that our condo didn't come with a complementary set of chairs and an umbrella. Our family members had to get up and leave those chairs! Another incident occurred later in the week we got up early to reserve our chairs. We waited around for A***over an hour. When he finally showed up we paid him our deposit and was told that our chairs would be set up closest to our condo. While we came back inside to get our cooler, bags, and swimsuits another party was given the chairs that were set up for us and we were moved to the opposite end of the beach. The beach service was such a hassle that although we will return to Destin, we will not be returning to The Coral Reef Club.
