Wonderful beach house, steps from the beach. We came with friends for a weekend getaway, but it’s also perfect for a family reunion. I can’t wait to bring my grandkids. They will go nuts with the cute kid playroom. Two of the bedrooms are self-contained suites that would be great for my adult daughters and their young kids.
I know it is a brand new remodel, but I bet there was also a professional decorator here. It’s elegant but at the same time casual beach-y. Many nice details, kudos. The home is totally equipped with everything you could possibly need. When Florencia wrote “just bring your swimsuit,” she meant it! We even found chargers for our phone, which was great because we forgot one! There are USB charging plugs in every bedroom, too. And the sheets and towels-wow! Total 5 star hotel quality.
The outdoor grill area was sensational. Huge and top of the line Kitchen Aid brand just like inside. Our husbands LOVED the grill. We were able to enjoy the patio and pool area all day long. There were even beach umbrellas, chairs and a cart for the beach. The outdoor shower was great to rinse off the sand before going inside or to the pool And the digital lock on the door was a nice touch. Didn’t even have to worry about sharing keys with friends. Quiet family neighborhood, looked really nice.
The beach is literally a block away. There are 2 restaurants right on the beach, one is very casual (Sandbar Grill) and the other is in the hotel, more upscale for drinks at night maybe after coming back from beach. Also has a cute ice cream and sundries store. We didn't find the umbrellas and chairs until the 2nd day (totally me, just didn't think to look!) and we rented on the beach for $20. Guess you could do that if you don't want to carry, but the beach cart was great. Would rather spend the $20 at the restaurant!
We are planning on coming back soon with other friends.
