Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay at Nick's place and would stay again in the future. HIGHLIGHTS: ~The apartment is just as it appears in the pictures: small and cozy, with an open concept. ~The kitchen had a lot of useful necessities, such as garlic crusher, lime squeezer, etc., in addition to the basic ones. ~There is an elevator, which came in handy when bringing luggage in and out. ~Clean and modern feel. ~Nick was very responsive and provided details before our trip. ~Miguel, the property manager, was attentive and professional, and responded in a timely manner during our stay. ~The folder with local information Nick put together in the apartment was very helpful when exploring local beaches. OPPORTUNITIES to enhance the experience: ~While the living room furniture looked nice, it was uncomfortable, especially the sofa. It was hard to sit there for more than 20 min, which made TV watching difficult. I'd recommend adding extra cushions/pillows. ~More shelf and cabinet space in the bathroom, such as a medicine cabinet, since the sink is tiny. ADDITIONAL INFO: ~The place is in a gated community, which is a plus, since it's in a local residential area, and not a touristic location. There are more units under constructions, but we didn't hear any noise when there. ~The free shuttle goes to a shopping plaza and the beach once a day. For us, having a car was a huge plus as we got a chance to explore various beaches, towns, and night life. The shuttle to Jellyfish Restaurant and Beach is for the duration of the hottest hours of the day (~10am-2pm). Note: the 20% off deal did not pan out with this restaurant. They only gave 10% off on non-alcoholic food and beverages, so keep that in mind. ~You are about 20-25 min from the beaches driving, which was OK with us, as you get more value for your money staying a bit further from the beach.
