Beautiful, secluded property with nice view.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This apartment is spacious and beautiful. Also very quiet and secluded area. Be aware though, it is a long way from anywhere, a 30 minute walk to the front gate and nearest shops and restaurants. If you have a car or are looking for seclusion it is perfect but if you want a vibrant area with exciting night life then look elsewhere. The price was great for such a large place but expect to pay a lot for electricity. We paid $140 for 4 days, although that is not unusual for PC. Recommend not running the aircon in the living room as it is huge and cooling it costs a lot. The apartment had all the basics such as utensils and crockery but you will need to buy everything else eg salt, sugar, cleaning products, trash bags, even toilet paper as well as water (although we drank the filtered tap water and it was fine). The shop near the gate of the complex is rediculously expensive. Use the supermarket just outside instead. The BBQ had a full gas bottle which was nice and the pool/terrace area is lovely. Overall, our stay was very relaxing and we enjoyed the apartment very much. There was a problem on checking in that the guards at the gate had no record of us and this took some time but was eventually resolved. However the gate guards speak only Spanish for the most part and we had some trouble getting taxis as they could not always seem to direct the cars to the apartment correctly. This was difficult because it is such a long walk to get outside of the complex. All in all though, go punta cana were fairly professional for Central America and there were no major problems. All queries were answered quickly and accurately and in good English.

                  It's all about the view!

We spent most of our time on the large patio with an incredible breeze. Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms but not even needed with the patio doors open in 85 degree weather. You are able to walk safely to local restaurants and mini marts for grocery basics. Our late night airport pick up and drop off were both on time. If you are looking for a quieter location from the all inclusives, this is a great option, yet you can walk the beach for an hour each way to see the other properties. Balicanna, the Asian restaurant was our favorite.
