My family and I enjoyed our stay at this home. It stood out among other potential properties because of the design of the house and the overall size of the estate. The house itself has so much character, highlighted by beautiful wooden cathedral ceilings. And the outside is also well maintained, especially all of the various flowers in the garden. It was fun trying to guess the type of fruit that was growing on one of the vines.
Our big kids joyfully ran back and forth in the long hallway of the house, and enjoyed their time exploring the outside as well. They slept in one room, and my wife and I stayed in the other room with our baby in a travel pack-n-play. Jaime was a very gracious host and made us feel welcome and appreciated. My wife and I especially enjoyed eating outside on the picnic table, seeing butterflies during the day and stars during the night, and being close to the beach. It is not a long drive to Fenwick Island State Park (16-18 minute drive), and we had previously purchased a parking pass so we could access the beach there. We also drove to Bethany on another day, also not far away. The routes themselves are filled with a mixture of small businesses, farms, and wide open spaces, a nice change of pace from city life.
If you are looking for a unique rental in the peaceful countryside not too far away from several beaches, this would be an excellent choice for you.
