My boyfriend and I are exploring the National Parks of Costa Rica and decided to rent this bungalow to have a central location to come back to each night. The place is a bit of a drive (about 1-2 hours from multiple parks), but is very easy to get to the main road from. The facilities were basically brand new, impeccably clean, and the kitchen had every appliance you could think of. There is a local market, French bakery, and great restaurants to chose from (you will fall in love with the restuarant on top of a nearby hill called Tilapia Pavón. You can fish for your meal or have the restuarant cook one they recently caught themselves). There is a great waterfall by the Tilapia restuarant that you can take a dip in, a local beach across the highway and a fantastic creek a few hundred meters from the house you can explore in the early morning to see wildlife.
The owners were unbelievably kind and accommodating. They will pick you up at the entrance of the village as the place is a bit tucked away. I would recommend having a 4wd so you can venture out on your own without the need of a bus.
I am excited to visited the house again and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
