Loved this villa & the beach town of Nosara. Christoph was particularly great!

                Beautiful ocean front villa

                5 of 5
Diosa del Mar is situated on the pacific coast about 40 minutes south of Tamarindo. The five bedroom villa offered plenty of individual and community space for our party of ten. The villa is directly on the ocean and allowed easy access to the beach. The steps to the beach maybe difficult for some. Directly in front of the villa is a rocky area, however, the beach to the south was great for a morning run or afternoon swim. We used the services of Laura's Bistrot for breakfasts and a few dinners. Food was always ample and us local ingredients. We had one person with a gluten allergy and Laura made sure to consider this and provided alternative options. Some suggestions: Add a telescope or binoculars. A number of times we saw some whales and dolphins out in the water. It would be great to be able to watch them. The weather is beautiful but it gets extremely hot in the late afternoon as the sun starts to set. Suggest adding a couple of stand up fans to help move the air.

Beautiful views, amazing sunsets, seclusion, total relaxation

Amazing little cottage, views of the ocean were spectacular and sunsets outstanding every evening. Pool was small but all you need to cool off, enough room for the 4 of us & a floaty. Deck area is well shaded, great day bed, 2 muskoka chairs & a picnic table which was very comfortable, loungers were not. Less than 5 min walk (during low tides) to great sandy beach and snorkeling (in the opposite direction). Convenient to multiple excellent restaurants (3 - 5 min drive). Petra and staff looked after your every need at a moments notice. Kayaking in the mangroves is a must and dining at the Guacamaya lodge was 5 star. Worth the 20 min drive on back roads to Lola's - amazing beach restaurant!!! Villa was completely private, well equipped, very clean and well maintained. BBQ was in excellent condition and villa was stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, water cooler and ice which we wished we knew ahead of time. Villa overall is small; however, comfortable for 4 and great outdoor space.
