                  Recent Manuel Antonio Reviews

Absolutely perfect play to stay in Manuel Antonio area

                  5 of 5
Our family of four, including two teen boys, had a fantastic stay in Manuel Antonio. We walked into the condo from a long drive and the view took our breath away. The view is spectacular, and the balcony was perfect for our sunrise coffee listening to the sounds of the jungle, and our evening martini. The condo is perfectly appointed, comfortable beds, and a great kitchen layout. David, the condo owner, sent us excellent materials on the condo, the Shana complex, and Manuel Antonio, and the property manager, Vanessa was an absolute sweetheart. She arranged a guide for a Manuel Antonio walk who was equally charming. Playa Biesanz is gorgeous, the jungle comes right down to the shoreline. We walked down every afternoon, it's a virtual private beach (and nice not to have to worry about crocs or rip tides with the boys). The local restaurants were terrific; La Mariposa had a stunning view, El Avion was kitchy-fun with a history lesson added on, pizza from El Gusto was delicious (spoke French with the Italian chef since my Spanish isn't as good as it should be). We love, love, love Costa Rica. Everyone we met was very kind and gracious. My only regret was not taking David's travel advice regarding bringing a small pair of binoculars. Do NOT forget these, even if you don't consider yourself a bird expert. Thank you so much for allowing us to share your piece of heaven on earth!
