We (family of 5) stayed at the BlueShack between Christmas and New Years this past year. The house was great - modern, open, clean, and even larger than it appeared in the pictures. We loved being "in town" and just a short walk from the beach, great places to eat, and even an organic market. The owners were wonderful and even connected us with a great Dominical contact for surfing and activities - Dominical WaveRider. Definitely look them up if you're in Dominical, they had all of us up surfing the first day, we even ended up going back for more lessons and board rentals. The local contact for the house in Dominical was incredibly helpful and just an all round really nice guy.
We really liked all the places to eat in town just a short walk from the house - El Pescado Loco tacos, Soda Nanyoa just across the street, and SuRaza. Mono Congo has great vegetarian options and great coffee. The restaurant PorQueNo is a short drive away with great food and an even more amazing view - go early for the sunset.
Already planning a return trip, we couldn't recommend BlueShack more!
