Villa with Italian charm on the property at Norwich Inn and Spa!!!

5 of 5
We booked Mary's lovely villa loft for a birthday getaway weekend. Mary is a fabulous hostess providing all information and answering questions very promptly via email and phone. We felt warmly welcomed with chilled waters, juice and Keurig coffee set up including the cream my husband was hoping to see. The villa recently redecorated in a lovely Tuscan style with furnishings and decor. The unit is immaculate with a full kitchen and living room with comfortable seating and a fireplace and TV. The loft bedroom is cozy with its own full bath, second TV and a very restful mattress. Ample Fluffy towels are available in both full baths. This second floor unit overlooks the golf course and felt very private and quiet. We experienced a 12 inch snowstorm on Saturday but the management kept the roads walkways and stairs impeccably clear and salted---- for our Sunday departures our car ---- along with all in the parking area ----were totally swept clean of the snow!!!! We took advantage of a Spa day at the Inn .... a $20 day fee per person to use the pool, sauna, steam room, exercise room, relaxation lounge, full showers and dressing rooms. There are many included complementary classes that require registration so read online, plan ahead and make your booking directly with Norwich Spa. Spa treatments and some classes are of course at a separate fee but well worth enjoying---also book those ahead. Don't miss the free afternoon homemade scones and the a wine tasting and cheese board at about 5:00---- overall the best $20 you'll ever spend on pampering yourself!!! We ate in both the Ascot Pub and the Kensingtons restaurant and were very pleased with all meals. The bar has a vast selection of cocktails!!! All staff members were friendly, attentive and readily available. This property is two miles from the Mohegan Sun--- $5 by Uber.... very convenient! We are already planning our next visit to Mary's Villa!!!!!

Nice place, great pivot point to see lots of wonderful things!

5 of 5
The condo is nice and spare, not a lot of knick knacks to deal with, which I like since I have kids. The place is clean and they stock paper goods and a good pantry of dishwashing detergent, trash bags, etc. The bed was very comfortable, and the air-conditioner cooled down the whole apartment after a few hours. Nice fluffy towels and a stack of brochures to look at. Pari checked in a few times during the week to make sure that we were doing well. This is wonderfully situated so that you are a mile from the beach (free with the supplied pass), a few miles from Harkness Memorial Park, about 20 minutes from Mystic, about fifteen minutes from Niantic and the amazing Book Barns (four of them!). Niantic also has a good children's museum and some eclectic shops. It is easy to walk and not overly packed like Mystic. All told, this was a wonderful place to stay. Clean, safe, and central.

Family Tradition

4 of 5
We are going back for the 3rd Year in a row with our two children. They have met new friends and look forward to seeing them and playing in the sand, which is just steps from the house. Accomodations are comfortable, clean and gas BBQ is a plus! and This is truly a diamond in the sand., We hope to return for many years to come. Tom and Sue Lowney, LI New York.
