We truly felt at home. Cherie made us feel as if we were family and we couldn't ask for more. We will always have fond memories.

            perfect spot, charming house

Great place for a couple or small family. The views out the back of the house are wonderful and the location is perfect. Beach is a block or so away and it's a very pleasant 10-15 minute walk to get to coffee, groceries and restaurants. Owner was flexible and easy to work with. Would definitely look forward to staying here again!

            Gorgeous early spring break!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at the Garden of Ideas. It was still a bit cold to fully appreciate all the outdoor wonders this place has to offer, but we definitely got a taste of it by watching the beautiful water birds on the marsh, walking the lovely footpath bridge, and finding sculpture heads nestled in the melting snow. The house was perfectly decorated, and very warm and cozy. It had everything we needed for our short stay and more. Loved the Keurig coffee maker - great touch. The only thing I would say is I think the living room furniture could be a bit more comfortable as there wasn't really a good place for us to cozy up in front of the fire. However, we loved hanging out on the extremely comfy bed and playing the acoustic guitar which is left out for guests. All in all, a truly delightful trip to Ridgefield.
