Excellent stay and beautiful secluded location but close to Yosemite Valley

              5 of 5
This was an excellent stay and an excellent location. This is secluded and away from the Yosemite Valley. The home was perfect for our small group of 4. There was three total beds and plenty of room for all. The fireplace required some work and I would recommend some small kindling to get it going. The kitchen is fully stocked for all the needs and they had a grill that worked well. The house comes equipped with some lanterns which were necessary due to a power outage that occurred on Saturday night for quite a few hours. Overall this was an excellent stay and highly recommended.

Lovely, relaxing place to stay close to the heart of Yosemite.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and well equipped, and Mary Ann was great to deal with. We stayed for 5 nights, and enjoyed being within the park and close to Glacier Point, Mariposa Grove and Yosemite Valley. This meant we could make the most of our days exploring the park, and then retire to the house to relax ahead of doing it all again the next day!

An extended-family lodging option for a nearby wedding

              5 of 5
Background: Iowa boy to wed CA girl---and boy's extended family needs a more affordable & comfortable lodging option than the nearby lodge/wedding site. We has stayed at Trestlewood once before (the meet-the-inlaws trip) and understood its potential. Our stay for the wedding was everything we'd hoped for and more, although we did push the lodging options almost to capacity. Trestlewood is relatively easy to find for first-timers, its layout facilitates as much bonding and/or privacy as desired, the kitchen works great and the views are outstanding. David's pricing structure is logical and fair, and he was 100% professional and consistent in supporting us. For another gathering in the West, we'd have no reservations about a return stay at Trestlewood-----tw
